This week I'm happy to feature a dark tribal 170 guest mix from @samp3dnb Tribal → deep → industrial → dark → hypnosis → space. A collection of 170bpm tunes which ebbs and flows through the deeper end of the spectrum. I like to contrast beauty with darkness. Spacious, drawn out and sometimes ethereal sections slowly layer subtle patterns, until the beauty begins to fade and you realise you've been drip fed into a state of hypnosis. Gross sounds build on top of each other, pummeling you relentlessly with industrial strength kicks, forcing you into a state of claustrophobia. You snap out of it, beating your chest, channeling your inner, most primal self, tribal percussion, the beat of your warcry as you march into orbit, losing yourself, succumbing to the universe to face your inevitable death.
